Valeria Metadata Trust Profile
This JPEG Trust Profile retrieves mapped Valeria Metadata fields from embedded conventional image metadata (such as TIFF/EXIF, XMP and IPTC). This Trust Profile does not access any information from C2PA Manifests.

Profile scope
This profile retrieves a set of Valeria Metadata fields mapped to conventional metadata (TIFF/EXIF, XMP and IPTC). The extracted fields include: asset identifier, optional image title, creator, creator organization, copyright notice, licence URI, rights-holder identifier and IPTC Digital Source Type. This report demonstrates how Trust Profiles can be built for assets that do not contain a C2PA Manifest.

The jpt:profile_compliance statement returns true if all required mapped values could be retrieved. Optional fields such as image title may be absent.

Trust Indicator source
Every statement reads from the top-level conventional metadata representation of the JPEG Trust Indicator Set. The profile never consults manifests or any C2PA assertion.

Report structure
Custom Valeria metadata, such as gallery, collection and curation level, are currently not mapped into conventional XMP. They remain available to profiles that read the embedded gallery.valeria.vmc assertion, but they are deliberately outside this profile.
